Tips For Looking Beautiful This Wedding Season
Wedding season is here. And the second most important thing on the big day (after picking the right groom!) is making sure you look show-stoppingly beautiful! Here are some quick tips to get your there.
Go for timeless.
You want your photos to last forever and a pic of how hot you look on your big day resting on your future child’s mantle place. While themed weddings are great, consider staying away from 80’s big hair and blue eyeshadow — although that’s great for the bachelorette party! Basically, enhance your normal makeup routine to make sure your groom recognizes you as you walk, run, or sashay down the aisle.
Decide your look.
If you’re getting married barefoot on the beach at sunset, you likely won’t want to wear an elaborate ballgown with a 12-foot train, but rather an empire waste with soft, flowing chiffon. Match your location to your dress. A field of wildflowers = bohemian. A ballroom = a ballgown.
Do a run-through.
ALWAYS do a run-through of your hair and makeup. If you’re not happy with it, tell the stylist why and then do it again. When you have your desired look, make sure you take photos so it can easily be recreated on your big day. Plus, you can always refer back to it in case you have little tweaks later!
Love your lashes.
Beautiful lashes will make your eyes pop in photos, and Red Aspen has the perfect bundle for brides! It comes in an adorable blue box that can be used to store mementos from the big day. It’s called Something Blue and includes:
2 sets of lashes: The Vivian and Miss
A Sample Adhesive
A Lash Applicator
Asha’s Ink Liner
We included two sets of lashes to make sure you’re covered for engagement photos, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, and all the other wedding-themed parties that will fill your social calendar up to the main event itself. Did we mention it costs just $70?!
If you’re not getting married but know someone who is, it also makes a thoughtful bridal shower gift.
