Sponsoring your first team member can feel intimidating, but it doesn’t have to! Try reaching out to people you know and trust ‒ make it a family affair! Ask friends if they’d be interested in trying Red Aspen products. If they like them, consider asking them to join your team. The first step is identify the differences between the two ways you can sponsor a team member ‒ as a Brand Ambassador or as an Affiliate.

 

Sponsoring a Brand Ambassador should always be your first choice when bringing on a new team member! It’s great for anyone who loves Red Aspen products, wants to be a part of a boss-babe community, and is interested in the possibility of sponsoring their own team members in the future!

 
 
 

Sponsoring an Affiliate is for those people who aren’t interested in building a team at Red Aspen. It’s perfect for Instagram influencers or someone who has some hesitation about joining. It’s a great way to “try before you buy” since joining as an Affiliate is free. Plus, an Affiliate can upgrade to Brand Ambassador at any time.

 
 

Leading a New Brand Ambassador is exciting! Each BA who joins goes through a welcome process similar to your own. To help you coach your new recruit through starting her business, it’s helpful for you to see what her journey looks like.

  1. She will buy a business kit! - Make sure she is shopping under you, so you become her sponsor.

  2. She will receive an order confirmation email. This email is just like the order confirmation she would receive for any other order.

  3. She will receive a New Brand Ambassador email. This email should include her Brand Ambassador ID. It informs her of the importance of checking her email, directs her to join the Brand Ambassador Facebook and Instagram groups, and sends her straight to the onboarding web page.

  4. Onboarding guides her through how to get her business started including sales, compensation plan, support, sponsoring, logging into her website, and Fast 45. 

You can be a great help in keeping her journey of starting a business smooth. Here are some points for you to help her! 

  • Logging in to her website: She will login like you would, but she needs to create a password through the link under “Sign In”. 

She should receive her BA ID in the Welcome Email mentioned above. You can also find her ID in your Hub. Hub > My Team > Detailed Genealogy

Her email is the one she used when signing up. It is case sensitive.

  • Remember that you are there to help lead and support those that you sponsor! Don’t be afraid to offer advice, tips, and direction. You could even go through on-boarding with her to answer questions that might arise along the way.

BRAND AMBASSADOR FAQ

HOW CAN SOMEONE SIGN UP AS BRAND AMBASSADOR ON MY TEAM? 

They can sign up using your unique Red Aspen link (redaspenlove.com/janedoe) or can find your name at checkout.

DOES A NEW RED ASPEN BRAND AMBASSADOR GET THEIR OWN WEBSITE URL? 

Yes! Red Aspen automatically populates the new Brand Ambassador’s URL when they enroll to www.redaspenlove.com/firstlastname and will add a number to the end if that URL already exists. The new Brand Ambassador will be able to edit their URL once they log into their new account.

IS SHIPPING FREE WITH BUSINESS KITS?

Yes, it is! But wait, there’s more! New BAs can add PV eligible products (including the Loyalty Box) to their cart along with their Business Kit and their entire order will ship free. 

CAN RED ASPEN BRAND AMBASSADORS SPONSOR OTHER BRAND AMBASSADORS?

Yes, they can if they want to! Please note that if the individual you are sponsoring is a former customer, then Red Aspen will simply upgrade their customer ID to a Brand Ambassador account, so their ID number will stay the same. 

I’M A RED ASPEN BRAND AMBASSADOR, AND I’M GETTING READY TO ENROLL ANOTHER BRAND AMBASSADOR. DO BRAND AMBASSADOR SALES COUNT TOWARD GROUP VOLUME AND DOWNLINE VOLUME? AM I PAID TEAM COMMISSIONS ON THEIR SALES? WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW AS AN UPLINE TO AN AFFILIATE? 

When you enroll a Brand Ambassador on your team, their sales count toward your title requirements for Group Volume (GV) and Downline Volume (DV). Brand Ambassador sales also count toward any level or generation commissions for which you may be eligible. (Please note that you must earn the title of Brand Leader or above in the month to be paid on your Level 1 Brand Ambassadors.)

Brand Ambassadors count as an active leg, count as qualifying sales active enrollments for Dashing Start, count towards Dashing Start PV for directors and count as enrollments toward Sponsor Society. 

I’M A BRAND AMBASSADOR. CAN I SIGN UP A FRIEND AND PAY FOR THEIR BUSINESS KIT AS A GIFT?

No. Each individual must sign up to become a Red Aspen Brand Ambassador and verify that their personal information is 100% correct (email, address, etc.).

HOW DO I HELP MY BRAND AMBASSADOR REINSTATE THEIR ACCOUNT? 

If a Red Aspen Brand Ambassador would like to reinstate their account, they can reach out to hello@redaspen.com and we’ll be happy to help! 

CAN A CURRENT BRAND AMBASSADOR ON ANOTHER TEAM TRANSFER TO BE IN MY DOWNLINE TEAM?

Unfortunately, the Brand Ambassador must terminate their current account and wait 6 months before rejoining with you as their sponsor.

IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT TO BECOME A RED ASPEN BRAND AMBASSADOR?

Red Aspen Brand Ambassadors are required to be at least 18 years old or have written consent from a parent/guardian saying the parent/guardian will co-own the Brand Ambassador account with the minor.

DO RED ASPEN BRAND AMBASSADORS HAVE A TERMS & CONDITIONS AGREEMENT? 

Yes, they do! They agree during the sign-up process. You can find more information here.

CAN I BE BOTH A RED ASPEN AFFILIATE AND BRAND AMBASSADOR? 

No. You can’t be both a Red Aspen Affiliate and Brand Ambassador. 

CAN RED ASPEN AFFILIATES SPONSOR OTHER AFFILIATES OR BRAND AMBASSADORS?

No, Red Aspen Affiliates are not able to sponsor.

I’M A RED ASPEN BRAND AMBASSADOR, AND I’M GETTING READY TO ENROLL AN AFFILIATE. DO AFFILIATE SALES COUNT TOWARD GROUP VOLUME AND DOWNLINE VOLUME? AM I PAID TEAM COMMISSIONS ON THEIR SALES? WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW AS AN UPLINE TO AN AFFILIATE? 

When you enroll an Affiliate on your team, their sales count toward your title requirements for Group Volume (GV) and Downline Volume (DV). Affiliate sales also count toward any level or generation commissions for which you may be eligible. (Please note that you must earn the title of Brand Leader or above in the month to be paid on your Level 1 Affiliates.)

However, Affiliates DO NOT count as an active leg, and DO NOT count as an enrollment toward the annual Sponsor Society award. 

I’M A RED ASPEN BRAND AMBASSADOR. CAN I SIGN UP FOR AN AFFILIATE AND JUST SEND THEM THEIR LINK TO SHARE?

We advise against this because the Affiliate’s personal information needs to be 100% correct (email, address, etc.). If the Affiliate sells 500 PV in a given month, we will send them a free Red Aspen product pack.

HOW DO I HELP MY AFFILIATE REINSTATE THEIR ACCOUNT? 

If a Red Aspen Affiliate would like to reinstate their account, they can reach out to hello@redaspen.com and we’ll help. 

I AM A RED ASPEN BRAND AMBASSADOR AND I WOULD LIKE TO DOWNGRADE MY ACCOUNT TO AN AFFILIATE. CAN I DO THIS?

Yes, you can. Send an email to hello@redaspen.com, and we will change your account.

I WAS A RED ASPEN BRAND AMBASSADOR BUT MY ACCOUNT WAS TERMINATED OR CANCELED. CAN I REJOIN AS AN AFFILIATE?

Yes, you can! Send an email to hello@redaspen.com, and we will get it set up. If it’s been less than 3 months, you must rejoin as an Affiliate under your original sponsor. 

Please note that you are ineligible to upgrade to a Brand Ambassador account if less than 6 months have passed unless you are enrolling under your original sponsor.
