Review Rules

We have put in place new rules within our policies and procedures, and are outlined below. The intention of these rules is to further support each Brand Ambassador and make sure we provide a safe, fair, and even playing field on our site for all.

  1. You may also not, under any circumstances, use photos from someone else without express permission. All photos must be your own or authorized to use and cannot have watermarks on them.

  2. No additional links in your review.

  3. No calls for contact, social media following, or business use.

  4. No promoting your own business.

  5. No promoting other products from other brands. It is okay to say “Maggie is better than ___ product”, but please do not promote other products over ours.

  6. No sharing any other company names, or other business names.

  7. As a Brand Ambassador, you MUST disclose so by checking “Yes” to the “Are you a Brand Ambassador?” on ALL reviews.

What is the new reviews program?

Over 90% of customers rely on or refer to reviews before purchasing a product. We are eager to provide this add-on to our website to further support your business. Reviews will also allow our community and their love for Red Aspen products to shine bright on our website. You and your customers’ reviews will help create a more interactive and personal shopping experience for customers that will lead to a more improved shopping experience.

We know you love our products, and reviews are the perfect opportunity to provide both Brand Ambassadors and customers a platform to express your thoughts, tips + tricks, and love!

when will Reviews begin?

Great question! Reviews will launch in two phases.

Phase 1: Starting on Tuesday, March 19, you and your customers will begin to receive product review request emails. This is to collect review data for our website. We encourage you to leave as many reviews as you would like while following our policies and procedures.

Phase 2: Reviews will launch on the website on Tuesday, April 2 at 10:30 am MT. You and your customers will be able to submit reviews on the website, as well as see all of the reviews that have been submitted. Review request emails will continue.

What will happen when phase 1 begins?

On March 19, customers and Brand Ambassadors who have made recent purchases will receive emails in which you can submit reviews. This phase is intended to gather as many upfront reviews for your site as possible.

What will happen when phase 2 begins?

On Tuesday, April 2, you will begin to see reviews on our website! Just like any other eCommerce site you will able to read individual reviews, see the average star rating of products, and see photos from customers. There will also be widgets on the website to leave reviews. Review request emails will continue to automatically go out after a purchase has been made on the site and will be a permanent addition to customers’ purchasing experience.

What are example terms I cannot use in a review?

Great question! To make the space fair for all Brand Ambassadors, you may not use the following terms in your review:

  • Your name.

  • Your team name.

  • Your business name, email, phone number, social media handles, or links.

  • The term Brand Ambassador or any other title (Ex. NBD, Executive Brand Director, Affiliate, etc)

  • Any other business you may have.

You may also not, under any circumstances, use photos from someone else. All photos must be your own and cannot have watermarks on them.

How will this benefit me and my business?

Great question! Reviews have become a positive and important part of online shopping. Having a large number of reviews on our website will allow customers to learn more about products, best uses, and tips. Reviews will serve as another tool to support Brand Ambassador businesses by aiding in the education process of the customer experience.
