What is the new text messaging program?

When it comes to sales today, communication is key. Text messaging offers a powerful way we can help customers revisit Brand Ambassador’s sites and make more purchases. Red Aspen has invested in a partnership with a text message provider that allows customers to opt-in to receive communication via texting. This is something we are doing to support YOU, the Brand Ambassador.

This is truly going to be a game-changer for your business. In fact, think of Text Messaging as your sales assistant. On behalf of Brand Ambassadors, Red Aspen will distribute text messages to customers to support Brand Ambassador’s businesses. We know that it can take up to 8-12 interactions for a customer to complete a purchase. Text messaging will help the number of touch points required by Brand Ambassadors to market and retain customers. We know this is a big lift, and we want to take some of the steps off of your plate.

when will text messaging begin?

Our Text Messaging program will launch on Friday, March 22 at 10:30 am MT.

What will happen when this program begins?

On March 22nd, you and your customers will see a new pop up on the Red Aspen website to sign up to receive text message communications. This is completely voluntary. Your customers will receive a one-time promotional discount promo code for them to use, this promotes more sales for your business as the customer will likely be more inclined to shop with a discount!

When customers stay opted-in to text messaging, they will receive marketing messages to encourage them to shop on your site.

Who is the voice behind the text messaging?

All text messages will be automated. This is not a personal texting experience, it is a marketing vehicle to engage customers and encourage repeat purchases. An example of this is when a customer purchases a bronzer, they will likely need to repurchase in 6 months. Automated text messages will remind them to repurchase 6 months after the initial purchase. Shipping updates are another great example.

Will i be able to use the red aspen text messaging system to communicate with my customers?

No. Text Messaging will be used for automated messaging managed by Red Aspen. The intention is to support Brand Ambassador businesses and take work off of their plates. Brand Ambassadors are, however, welcome to communicate with your customers via text on an individual basis through your own mobile provider.

How will this benefit me and my business?

Great question! Text messaging will assist you in communicating with customers and providing more shopping opportunities. Text messaging will heavily benefit your business by saving you time, assisting you with encouraging your customers to shop, and allowing your customers to remain in the know of new promotions. How will you spend the extra time saved from having to send mass communications to customers? The opportunities are endless and exciting!

Will my customers be led to my business site from text messages?

Yes! Your business is connected to your customer’s web account. As long as they have an account with Red Aspen, when they go to checkout your Brand Ambassador account will appear when they type in their email!

Will discount codes provided through text messaging count toward PV?

Discounts are not reflected in your PV

Can Brand Ambassadors receive text messaging and discount codes?

Yes! We encourage you to experience text messaging, too!

What if I have a customer that doesn’t want to be messaged via text?

To receive text messages, your customers will be required to willingly opt-in. Customers can easily opt-out of text messaging communications by replying STOP at any time. If they would like to opt-in again, they may do so on the Red Aspen website.

How will it be determined how many texts our customers receive?

Don’t worry, all communication is carefully curated based on standard eCommerce practices to deliver an appropriate number of texts at a reasonable frequency. The intention is to support Brand Ambassador businesses in maintaining and retaining their customer base.

Why is the pop up offering a discount?

We will be testing discounts for text message opt-ins. These discounts will not apply to Loyalty Box subscriptions, discounted products, sale items, or business kits. Each opt-in will receive one promo code via email and text message. This code can only be used once. One discount code per order only; codes cannot be combined with other promo codes.
